For fun I combined my album title, band name and picture together and above is the album of my life so far.

Augusta of Saxe-Weimar was a band founded on love, loyalty and being the best. And that is exactly what they have become: one of the best. Founded by lead singer, (I’ve always wished I could sing) Michelle in 2009, Augusta started out small, but they quickly made a name for themselves in the music community.

“We named the band after the Queen of Prussia because we thought she was a significant character in history,” said guitarist Christina. “She was a mover and a shaker and she never let anyone or anything stand in her way. That is what we wanted the band to be.”

Augusta has certainly become a band to look out for, and their newest album: The Time You Enjoy Wasting is Not Wasted Time is a progressive mix that reminisces the days of college and youth. Remember those Saturdays you spent day drinking instead of writing a paper? Or how about when you met that person you knew would be “the one” when you were at a party – only to go on a date to realize they would never be the salt to your pepper. All those memories and many more will come rushing back to you as you sit down to listen to the album.

So get in the car, roll down all the windows, open the sunroof and plug in your ipod because Augusta is about to take you for the ride of your life.
