I am a Toyota owner. I drive a little red Camry named Lola. She is a doll baby. While I can never say that I loved going to the Toyota dealership to get work done, I’ve never minded it either. Out of all of the different dealerships I’ve been to, Toyota has typically been the best. Moving on.
Because I am such a terrible excellent driver, I ripped the mud flap on my car. I know right? Who would have known that driving over one of those “gator” tires that pops off the semi trucks at 80 miles an hour could do so much damage. In my defense there were cars on either side of me and I really didn’t have any choice but to keep on chugging.
In addition to needing to get the mud flap fixed it was also time for my monthly oil change and tire rotation (a little exaggeratory, but is seriously does feel like I am always at the dealership) I guess that’s what happens when you drive 100 miles a day. I called Toyota Nalley last night, made an appointment for today (shocked they even had one available) and forgot all about it. As I was frolicking around Atlanta on my day off work, I realized that I was going to be late for my appointment. I called, changed it and then promptly proceeded to show up 30 minutes before the new appointment time. No one blinked, they just took my car fixed it and had it back out to me in under an hour. Every single person at that store was super friendly, very helpful and the level of service far exceeded my expectations, not to mention the cost was vastly lower then what I was anticipating spending. If this is Toyota having a reputation management problem, they can keep on having it. Today was the best car day I have ever had.
It’s good to know that people do learn their lessons and there are companies who go above and beyond to fix the mistakes they made, whether inadvertently or not. Well done Toyota, you’ve reaffirmed my faith in you and when little Lola dies, you can count on me to come back for a Lola II.
Happy weekend y’all!
