Have you ever been sitting in the car, running out the door, seen a magazine or newspaper article and wished you had paper and pen to jot that information down on. If you’re like me you probably texted yourself a little reminder, added a note to your Google calendar or tryed some other workaround to remember your brilliant idea. While all of the above work, they are also slightly annoying. I hate emailing myself pictures or texing myself phone numbers, blog ideas or work thoughts. None of the information ends up the same spot and I always find myself accidently deleting or forgetting where I sent the information.

That was until I found Evernote. A downloadable app for just about any smart phone, Evernote allows you to capture just about any form of information you might need and uploads it to your notebook. You can login to your notebook from any computer and download / print / email / or share an Evernote, making it extremely easy and convient to find your information again. This is a must have Droid app. Evernote gives the user the ability to upload files, pictures, audio notes or written notes so no matter your meduim, you know you’ll be able to fond your information again. You can also sort your notes into seperate notebooks so that they always remain neat and organized. Whether you’re leaving yourself an audio reminder to pick up your dry cleaning or a shooting yourself an idea for an article, song, story, etc. You’ll be able to hang onto it.

Evernote stores 500,000 notes so running out of space should never be an issue. If you’re like me and use Evernote all the time, you can add keywords, titles and tags to your notes ensuring that you’ll easily be able to sort them out again at a later date or find the exact note you need three years down the road.
