I began the Janet Evanovich series when I was a mere grade school girl and I have dutifully kept up with her for the past 16 books, but I think the time has come for me to retire the series. Number 16 is boring, predictable and downright dull.

Things you knew from the first 15 books:

Stephanie Plum is a bounty hunter with a ridiculous group of friends

She can’t decide between two incredibly sexy, nice, caring, hot men (bitch poor girl)

She will blow up a car

She will hate her job and after years and years still doesn’t do it particularly well

She will do a lot of illegal things while the rest of the characters look the other direction
