a magazine to live by

in Love it, Oh Hey

I am usually a book girl. If I am going to spend money on reading material, I like to spend it on something that doesn’t out-date itself. It is for this very reason that I adore Real Simple magazine . This is the most helpful, useful, informative magazine I have ever read. It has everything from what white jeans flatter your figure to add a marshmallow to your brown sugar to keep it soft.

Whether you’re looking for recipe ideas, a easy and quick way to organize your closet, party ideas, or a cute outfit to wear out on a date this is the magazine for you. I even have an issue that tells you if you can fix your appliances yourself, or if you should call a repair man (let’s be serious, I always call a repair man – but I keep it on hand in case I am ever feeling adventurous).

Check it out next time you’re at the grocery store, I promise you won’t be disappointed when you’re reading it. I am thinking about caving and investing in a subscription because I love it that much.

Oh, I’m about to make you mad and disagree. What Real Simple is good at is style and beautiful fonts. The design of the magazine is lovely to look at. The words though are the same regurgitated crap. Get a subscription, you’ll notice it after about the 3rd or 4th consecutive issue. You’re much better off collecting an issue here and there.

It’s a good magazine to have around if you want to make mood boards or collages. :-D

I take back my love for your blog :) No just kidding, but that’s good to know. Anyone else feel the same way?
