fly away home: a book preview

I am currently reading Jennifer Weiner’s Fly Away Home and I am in love. It’s about a family that has been broken apart by bad decisions, selfish behavior and the general need to survive by any means possible. Weiner beautifully illustrates how the small choices we make in life, the unconscious decisions we make (whether we think they are right or wrong) have the power to influence us for years to come. It’s not until a scandal completely cracks this family’s foundation that they are truly able to love and appreciate each other in a way that you would have never thought possible.

I haven’t finished reading Fly Away Home, and because I wrote this preview – I probably won’t write a complete review. But I will tell you this. If this book has moved me enough to write about it before the end. It’s worth buying.
