new find: gadabout stationary
I happened to run into the most lovely girl last night, Hanna Brooks Nation. We got to chatting and she was telling us about her new stationary company that she launched. Of course being an avid lover of all things paper and pretty, I had to check it out this morning. You will die. It is amazing stationary and she does it all herself. Great girl, great stationary. Make sure to check it out.

I am really excited for the Red Stripe Light Music Fest. Happening on Saturday the Music Fest is FREE and features music from Better Than Ezra and The Wailers. In addition to the music there will be a bunch of other activities and vendors and should prove to be a good time.

Other than a movie about Julia Child, I wasn’t really aware of the premise behind the film. I found myself oddly moved by the entire story. There are so many levels to the movie and it goes so far beyond telling the story of two women. It’s about overcoming the odds, always pursuing your dream and discovering who you are. Even bigger it’s about a woman who is blogging.
Needless to say, I loved the movie. It got me thinking about a lot of things, namely pursuing your dreams. Read the rest of this entry »
